to encrypt an existing text file simply drag and drop existing text files on a LockNote window: they will be encrypted automatically. you can also do it by dragging the text file on Locknotes exe file.

right-click the encrypted text file and change its file attribute to “hidden”. But be sure to set the folders view option to “do not show hidden files and folders”
