This is one of my original tweaks for the greatest browser on Earth.

I notice this RSS feed lurking on my toolbar right next to “Getting Started” and I thought this may take some of my bandwidth from just loading the news. So what I did was I disabled it.

Step 1: right-click “Latest Headlines”

Keep those nasty malwares/spywares away from your precious b0x without the hassle of using anti-intrusion tools by following this two simple steps:

1. Create a new user profile with limited system priviledge and use this as your main surfing hub.

In case of a system breach, this will isolate the problem thus ensuring your system files remains safe. You can safely fix the problem or delete and recreate a new and a clean one without the need to defrag or reinstall your whole OS.

2. Apply the Sandbox technology

Run Firefox within sandbox envi. to block those killer codes from ever reaching your b0x. You can do this by installing VMware bundled with Firefox

Run instant messengers within sandbox envi. to block the spread of IM worms and trojans. You can do this by installing the more flexible Sandboxie
